You will find a two page list of volunteer assignments for Wednesday's time trials / mini-meet.

If you cannot fulfill your obligation this week, find a replacement who will take your shift and let me know.

Swim Buddies/Team Pictures

I forgot to mention swim buddy sign up.  This is a sign up for kids to get a swim buddy for the season.  We partner a younger swimmer with an older swimmer so they can share their swim team experiences, cheer each other on, provide camaraderie, and make new friends.  This is not required but is fun for the kids. I will have a sign up sheet at the pool in the front of the meet sign up book.  If your swimmer would like to participate, just have them sign up by Tuesday May 29th so we can post their buddies on Wednesday 5/30, the night of team pictures.

Parent Meeting Info/Mini Meet Wednesday May 23rd

Here are the highlights if you missed the parent meeting:

All communication will be posted on our website at clearlakeforesfins.org so please check the site regularly.  We will also be sending weekly emails with updates and there is a parent handbook available for all families at the pool.  The website includes a google calendar you can sync to your phone/google calendar if you have that capability.  The calendar has all fins activities listed. 

Pool Kick Off

The swim team has taken over hosting the Clear Lake Forest Pool Kick Off Party as a fundraiser for our team. It is less than 2 weeks away on May 20th from 1-5pm.  Below is a message from Tricia Wilson who is heading up this event.

Our team suits are A Gleam's own brand called Aquajunk.  They are the same fit as the speedo brand.  I will try to have sizing suits available to try on the first week of practice or you can go to a gleam to try them on anytime they are open.  Their address is 20801 Gulf Fwy.

Early Bird Discount Expires this Saturday

This is just a reminder that this Saturday, April 7th is the last day to register to receive your $25 early bird discount.  Thanks to all those that came out to registration or dropped off forms.  You can still bring them by my house at 1214 Goldendale Dr.

2012 Registration

-I have attached the registration forms for joining Fins this summer.  If you know anyone that is interested in joining the team, please forward these forms to them.  These forms and payment can be mailed or dropped off to my address, 1214 Goldendale Dr.  I will have a collection box outside the front door.  Practices will begin on May 7th.
-There is a $25 early bird discount for forms and payment received by April 7th.  Sign up early to reserve your spot!

Pineloch Meet Results

Congrats Fins on the BIG win over Pineloch. Score was Fins 442, Pinloch 274. It's not offical yet but looks like we may have another Undefeated divion Champions to hang on the wall. Let's keep the fins hot and bring finish the season with a win over Deer Park this Saturday at home.
