Hello Fellow Fins,I just wanted to remind everyone about the big Timbercove meet coming up tomorrow. This is one of the Fin's true rivalry’s as the kids go to school with each other so make sure to be well rested and hydrated for the meet!! A Volunteer check in station will be set up under the pavilion where the computer input is so when you arrive report to the volunteer table for your assignments and pick up your child’s swim events sticker at the same time. Every family needs to check in at the station with the volunteer coordinators Nicole and Michael.
There have been some questions about who needs to volunteer? The answer is every family has committed to 5 shifts (usually one half session per meet) to run the meet. No family should have to work the entire meet or more than 5 shifts if everyone honors their commitment. For home meets we need over 60 volunteers to sign the kids in, line them up, sort the swimmers in heats, time the swimmers, run the cards, enter the data, score the meet, etc. So please support your team, kids and fellow parents by fulfilling your commitment. I have included the volunteer contract below for your review.

Parent Volunteer Contract CLEAR LAKE FOREST FINS 2008
Volunteers keep our team afloat. The Clear Lake Forest Swim team is a volunteer organization and to successfully run a swim meet, parent participation is required. Each Family is required to work at least 5 shifts during the season meets. There are over 60 jobs that need to be filled for each home meet. Some positions require training but most do not. Signing up and fulfilling your volunteer obligation is essential for the continued viability of the FINS.
I/We _______________________________________acknowledging that the Clear Lake Forest Fins swim team is an organization relying heavily on volunteers, agree to work my/our assigned shifts or personally make arrangements for another adult to work them.
