NEED TO SPEAK TO A COACH?
Please do not approach the coaches during practice as they have the responsibility of ensuring the safety of all of the swimmers. If you have any questions please ask before or after practice or ask a board member. There is a Coach Communication book that is available at the Coaches picnic tables that you can write down your concerns and schedule a conference if needed.
PRACTICES ARE IMPORTANT
Swimmers will benefit greatly by regular attendance at practice sessions. At practices, they receive instruction in the competitive strokes and are given an opportunity to build physical endurance. Swimmers also can keep up with the latest news as information is distributed at practices.

- Starting practice late or in the middle of the session is distracting to the other swimmers and coaches.
- Listen to and obey all instructions for your coaches.
- Complete the practice workout routine (sets)instructed by the coaches.
- Absolutely no running, horseplay, pushing people in the pool, or use of profanity or fighting.
- Please do not approach the coaches during practice as they have the responsibility of ensuring the safety of all of the swimmers. If you have any questions please ask before or after practice or ask a board member.
- Please note that family members attending practice are not allowed in any other pools unless the facility is officially open with a lifeguard present.
- DISCIPLINE: To assure orderly practices and meets, discipline must be maintained. Misbehaving swimmers may be sent home at the discretion of the coaches or a FINS board member. In cases of severe transgressions or multiple occurrences, the swimmer may be suspended from the team without refund of fees.
